In section 83(1) (interpretation of Part 1)—
(a)
omit the definition of “franchise exemption”;
(b)
in the definition of “public sector operator”, for “above” substitute “as it had effect before its repeal by section 1 of the Passenger Railway Services (Public Ownership) Act 2024”
